Basic Life Support is a slightly more advanced CPR certification (American Heart Association) for professionals, which covers everything in a Heartsaver class (CPR/AED and choking relief) as well as topics like rescue breathing and advanced airway considerations. The BLS course concludes with a short and easy exam/test whereas the Heartsaver course has no test. We recommend taking the BLS certification course to all of our students because it provides some key skills that are crucial for respiratory arrest (overdoses, medication errors, etc..). BLS is generally required for professional healthcare workers, lifeguards, nurses, nursing students, and physician assistants. We wholeheartedly recommend this certification for families and babysitters as well.

We provide in-person AHA CPR classes for individuals or groups, as well as remote AHA CPR classes on zoom for individuals or small groups. If you need a BLS renewal or a first-time certification, we will make sure you take away long-lasting knowledge that you feel confident to use and SAVE a LIFE! Our instructors have many years of experience, and we provide high quality courses tailored to any students' needs. These classes move at a comfortable pace. We love to work in scenarios into our classes to make sure you can administer CPR, choking relief, or other skills under pressure. Our classes are customizable, meaning we will work in scenarios and topics that apply to the kinds of situations where you expect to use these life-saving skills.

The Heartsaver and Basic Life Support (BLS) classes both include AED training as well as choking relief for adults, children, and infants.
